Brief Description

The Financial Services Authority regulated the UK Mortgage Market in October 2004. This means that mortgage advisors must be qualified. In an industry where high earnings are possible, the number of people currently qualified is a quarter of the actual demand. The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) is the preferred qualification for a career as a Mortgage Advisor.
